Exactly What I Needed

I wanted a combination lock with a long hasp for the Lock-Out on my table saw to prevent any unauthorized use. The look and solid feel made this lock my top choice. It has been easy to remove/re-lock as I use the saw thru-out the day without the hassle of a key. The fit and finish should yield a long life in my unconditioned shop. I would give the lock itself a 5-star rating.
My only negative is that you must scan a QR code on the package to find out how to re-set the code (combination). The scan leads to a Product Registration page requiring name & email info. It is not obvious that you can scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on a link for “Manuals” then enter the Name of the lock (Vulcan Combi 40/2.5 in this case). Then get to a an “Instructions” link and FINALLY to a quick music video on changing the code. Therefore only a 4-Star rating for this “customer experience”. But once you know the “trick”, re-coding is easy and the lock is great to use!

I found this lick to be exceptional and the quality was above average. Just holding the item you could tell it will last for years. If you are looking for a combo lock..this would be a great choice.

This was the perfect addition to my home! I have a meter lock on a door that my teen child with special needs would otherwise be able to access, even with the typical child-proof mechanisms! This was the perfect length and weight to add to my lock. The combination was easy to set and no more hassle of using a key! Previously I had locked myself out of my own spaces in the home and had to wait for a relative to drop by with the spare key! This combination lock prevents any inconvenience while maintaining my child’s safety and my security/privacy! Highly recommend!
